PAWS - The Portsmouth Airway Workshop

PAWS

Airway management is an essential skill in anaesthesia. Occasionally we all run into a difficult airway either predicted through airway assesment or unpredicted. When this happens we need to be able to deal with it effectively and safely.

Based on the established alogorithms of the DIfficult Airway Society, the course covers the essential knowledge and skills you need. It will allow you to become familiar with otherwise seldom used equipment and features live fibreoptic demonstration on a volunteer from the faculty.

The course will not run in 2007 as we are hosting the Difficult Airway Society annual meeting, so book early for 2008.
